Tours, excursions, cruises on the river Corrib and a visit to many of the famous landmarks, such as Connemara, the Burren, Kylemore Abbey The Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands are all available to the visitor of Galway. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy an endless array of activities including watersports, tennis, horseriding, walking tours, cycling, greyhounds, horseracing, go-karting, bowling, river & deep sea angling, and a host of Ireland’s 18 hole championship golf courses.

Guests of Gleann Na Ri are spoilt for choice when it comes to golfing. The 18 hole championship course in Oranmore, The Galway Bay Golf & Country Club (091) 790503, a Christy O’Connor designed course (this course is currently undergoing re-development in 2008) and Galway Golf Club, Salthill 091-522033. There are many other golf courses in the Galway area.
